Graphite plug cast bronze
Self-lubricating high temperature and heavy load. Graphite plug bronze bushings are self-lubricating and maintenance free. These bushings are machined from continuous cast bronze and are plugged with solid lubricant plugs. A bush, which is being mated
surfaces should always be separated by a layer of lubricant. Graphite plugged bronze bushings do not require any form of supplemental lubrication.
When it starts running, a layer of solid lubricant is transferred to the shaft. Self-lubricating properties allow graphite plug bushings to be used where oiling is difficult and implementation is expensive
Grease cannot be used. Good lubrication can be obtained even at low speeds under high loads.
